Mike Sands

Being a native of the Upper Peninsula, I’ve always known this region and its people to be something special. I joined State Farm in 2000, starting my career as an Underwriter before becoming an Agent in 2002. My education at L'Anse High School and Northern Michigan University helped shape the way I support customers today, whether they’re preparing for everyday risks or long‐term financial goals. From my office here in Escanaba, MI, I’m proud to serve a community I know well and have deep roots in.

Family, faith, and community are at the center of my life, right alongside my love for the game of hockey. I’m a devoted husband and father to two wonderful children, and Oakley, our Office Dog, is very much part of the family too. Those values carry into the way my team and I work with customers across Michigan and Wisconsin, taking the time to listen and provide clear guidance.
